Months ago I showed Christmas works unfinished, and although I returned to a panel, has been the doily the first to finish. I made that buttonhole stitch the sewing machine (but I still prefer to do by hand), and a "craziness", the quilting, I enjoyed making from a template downloaded from the network.

Hasta pronto.
Goodbye.

Tal vez…/Maybe...

... You want to sew a reversible bag, although I took me nearly a century, I made a step by step, just hope that is clear.

The pattern I downloaded it free from Allpeoplequilt, you can view other patterns too.

For starters, you have to choose two fabrics at home; it takes 50 x 140 cms of each fabric.

The pattern is transferred to the folded fabric, it already has a ¼ "seam included. I said in the previous post that my bag an inch around it enlarges the bag and the strap three inches (sorry for the mix of metric units, I live in a  country with metric system, but I learned the patchwork and other seams to the system English).

After that has been cut on both sides of the bag, right sides facing and sew around the semicircle, and then the other.
You have to make some small cuts before turning to the right through the strap.

¡Sí, pasa!

Yes, it happens!

Now, you have to sew on both sides. At this stage, I added a lock to fasten with a button later.

For the seam at the base, you must match at the center side seams, stitched an entire side and the other must leave without sewing a section, approximately 7 ". Also, there to form the corners, it matches the basal seam with the edge of one side, forming a triangle, measure 3 "and sew straight. You can cut the fat. You have to repeat this step for all corners.

Through the hole, go around the bag to the right.

¡¡¡Casi listo!!!

Almost ready! Hidden stitches sew the opening, stitching around the strap and sew two buttons, one on each side of the bag for closure.

A ver ¿quién se anima?

Hasta pronto.

Let's see who is encouraged?

Goodbye.

Bolsos reversibles / Reversible Handbags

I made these reversible handbags, easy to sew and combine. The bag with fabric with flowers and polka dots has the size of the original pattern, and although it is comfortable, I added another bag around the body one inch and three inches in length of strap.
They are so simple and without batting, though I wish make a handbag decorated and quilting top (always, I made complicated life).
Hasta pronto.
Goodbye.
